Doing a PhD is hard​.

This is Nath, founder of The PhD Place and active doctoral researcher. He started The PhD Place with the mission of Tackling Student Isolation after joining his PhD program, and feeling first-hand the confusion and isolation of academic life.

Looking to connect with other researchers, he started an online blog called 'PhD Spotlight' now PhD Stories where researchers could come together and share their doctoral experiences. Then he began running online writing groups for researchers to write together and talk about their work. An academic community began to form where researchers could seek advice and guidance on all aspects of their experience.
