The PhD Place RolesThe PhD Place is an online community for PhD researchers to share their stories, learn from each other, and make friends. We are currently reinventing our approach to ‘Tackling Student Isolation’ in 2023 by making our project MGS-led. We are looking for volunteers at the Midlands Graduate School Doctoral Training Partnership to lead on our projects, and offer our space to the wider PGR community. The MGSDTP is a consortium of 6 universities including the Aston University, University of Birmingham, University of Leicester, Loughborough University, University of Nottingham, and University of Warwick.
With over 57,000 followers on Twitter, our community of researchers is growing every day. The PhD Place is an exciting space for researchers to develop their PhD skills and hear from others going through the PhD journey. PhD researchers can write with us on our collaborative blog, publish a talk on our YouTube account, or attend our weekly online writing groups. |
